Data Deletion Request

BakiNote lets you control the debt, financing and payment records you enter. These financial records are kept locally on your Android device, not in a BakiNote account or remote financial-record database.

Delete your records in BakiNote

  1. Open the BakiNote app on your Android device.
  2. Open Settings.
  3. Select Delete All Data (or Padam Semua Data in Bahasa Melayu).
  4. Read the permanent deletion warning.
  5. Tick the acknowledgement checkbox.
  6. Type DELETE (or PADAM in Bahasa Melayu) exactly as prompted.
  7. Tap Delete All Records to confirm.

This action cannot be undone. If you need a copy of your records, export a JSON backup before confirming deletion.

What will be deleted?

All debt records, financing records (including car, home and personal financing), and associated repayment and instalment histories stored in the app will be permanently removed from your device. Related locally scheduled record reminders are also cancelled.

What is not deleted?

The in-app deletion function does not delete your app language and appearance preferences, valid Google Play Premium entitlements, or JSON/CSV backup files you previously exported outside the app. You must delete those copies separately from wherever you saved or shared them.

Google Play Billing and advertising services (including Google AdMob) may independently process and retain certain purchase, advertising or device information in accordance with their own policies. Deleting your locally stored financial records does not automatically delete information held by those services. See Google's Privacy Policy.

Need help or want to request deletion?

If you cannot access the app, or want to make a data-deletion request or ask about information within BakiNote's control, email support@bakinote.com with the subject BakiNote Data Deletion Request.

Please describe the type of data involved and the assistance you need. Do not send payment card details, passwords or sensitive financial records. Because your financial records are stored locally on your device and are not linked to a BakiNote user account, our team cannot remotely access or erase those records. We can provide instructions for erasing them on your device and review any deletion request involving data we control.

Data retention and additional information

Locally stored debt, financing and payment records remain on your device until you delete them using BakiNote or Android's app data controls, or remove the app's data by other device-level means. Exported backups remain where you saved them until you delete them. Retention by independent third-party services is governed by their respective policies.
